There are three types of heaters for diesel generator sets:

(1) Anti-condensation heater. When the unit is used in a large ambient humidity, an additional anti-condensation heater should be installed. The power supply is generally the unit start battery.

(2) Water jacket heater. When the mains voltage of the mains is correctly connected, it is used to automatically heat the cooling liquid of the unit. When the unit is in standby state, the device automatically detects the coolant temperature. When the temperature is lower than the factory limit, it will automatically heat up. When the temperature rises to about 50 ° C, the heating is automatically stopped. Water jacket heaters are required for units that may be in icing areas. The power supply of the unit water jacket heater is AC220V.

Note: When the unit is running, be sure to stop the water jacket heater, otherwise the heater may be burned out. The Ketai installation heater has been designed with relevant control functions on the control circuit and automatically cuts off the heater power supply when it is turned on.

Note: The manual service valve on the heater line must be open.

(3) Air preheater. Its function is to heat the air entering the combustion chamber in order to increase the startup success rate when the unit is started. When the unit realizes normal running operation and the starting motor has exited, the air preheater will automatically stop working. The power supply for the air preheater is generally the unit start battery.
